Description
I needed a place to set my engines when they\'re not in use, but I wanted to keep them visible. Target sells a 12\"x12\"x1.25\" display frame for $9.99 that is perfect if you add some shelves inside of it. I spent a couple of minutes with the tablesaw ripping the shelves, but basswood could probably be obtained in the correct dimensions. I moved the glass from the front to the back, giving me open access to the shelves, and providing a sort of mirrored effect behind the cars. My plan is to add a section of track on each shelf.. there\'s plenty of depth to the frame to support MTL roadbed track.
