That is the Wright Memorial at Kill Devil Hills, NC. Live only 4 1/2 hours from there and go there at least once a year. Its a pilot thing.

Eric, YOU WIN! I'll transfer three points after this post. Most people would say Kitty Hawk which is right down the dunes from Kill Devil Hills. My neighbor and I flew from Annapolis to the memorial. The picture is a bit blurred but I also made a Z Plane replica.. Glad the model was at least good enough to be recognizable- But the next one will be Z and detailed.

As a NC resident, if I got that wrong I would be kicked out of the state. The plane replica pretty much solidified the answer. Now, can you make a replica of the Nicholson viaduct from PA. That was where I grew up and started my love of trains and also got my start in Z. Once again, thank you. It is a good replica.

I lived in Wilmington for 6 years, right next to the Battleship North Carolina. We even had allegators by our gangway! It's a pretty state from the small mountain roads to the outer banks. I'd like to make an aquaduct. I think it would be neet seeing a canal boat going OVER a river on the aquaduct. I'll google the Nicholson viaduct.

That's a nice looking RAILROAD Bridge-- Largest of it's kind in the world when built. Maybe a scaled down version for an aquaduct. Either that or bust down a wall....

This is JUST FOR FUN-

I applaud all you modelers out there scratchbuilding bridges and using your tallents, time, and imagination, entering the foto contest.
I will not be entering.. I did these pictures for the fun of it.
It's really nice of Loren and Karin to sponsor such an event and ZSC for hosting this competion.

1. The caboose is being hauled out (a boating- not a train- term - forgive me), which is the more obvious.

2. The river rafters going over the falls.
