003 Finished Barrier Strips
Image information
Description
Photo 3: 003 Constructing Barrier Strips.
On the top I tinned [soldered] each wire of every group. See strip marked “5”. This will help later on, when soldering the wires to it.
On the bottom I soldered each group of 4. See strip marked “6”. In other words I improved the continuity and prevent the loose ends from bending up.
I also glued some spacers [scrap from the Vector board], using Scotch® Super Glue Cell. See strip marked “6”. I also tried cork spacers. See strip marked “7”. Both type of spacers works fine! This space will reduce and/or prevent any wood or cork underneath each contact point from being burnt.
