John,
Perhaps it’s not big news on other sites (you mentioned Trainboard and Yahoo) because they know it wasn’t directed at them? But I’m with you, it didn’t sound as if any single group was singled out, so I never took offense. But neither your opinion nor my opinion counts, when it did, in fact, disgruntle others here on ZCS.
And to set the record straight, as long as a website is not a closed paid site, it is NOT a “private” site, as you say his Blog is. Further, any site that offers a place for visitors to comment, as does Mr. Cubbin’s site, makes itself that much more “public”. And seriously, look at his site, advertisements all over the place to keep the site open, and free, to the PUBLIC.

Fellow Z scalers. Please, everyone take a deep breath. I am going to lock this thread before anymore hurt feelings come out of this. We do not need to split modelers into seperate camps, it is unfair to Z scale modeling and it is unfair to you.
For the past 14 months since I bought Z Central Station, my main focus has been to update and upgrade the site. Stony and I have introduced several new features some flourished and few have failed and were quietly removed. We have also stabilized the site with very little down time. I realized a long time ago Z Central Station plays an integral role for Z scale modeling. Z Central Station is always growing and is a fantastic site for resources assisting in the growth of Z scale modeling.
You are most welcome to continue this discussion, but in private. Let's move beyond this and move forward.
