Hi all, thanks for the nice comments.
Terry & Beverly, I used this stuff! I could use it in my office without getting high and alerting the other office workers that I was playing with my trains again.
After setting the river bed with lots of glue and allowing it to dry; I mixed a small amount of green acrylic into the Gloss Medium and poured it in the river. It acts like the mossy layer around the rocks. When it dried , I added more layers of straight Gloss Medium to build up the stream depth.
To be honest, the surface texture was pure luck. But it does depend on the rocks below and isn\'t that how water works too?
I\'ll post more photos of the complete construction of this layout. Soon? We\'ll see.
