The basis was an MT Southern Pacific caboose. I removed all the moulded detail from the sides and blanked of the inner pair of windows. The curved grab irons were replace with wire although finer wire would have been better. After painting I glazed the windows using wood glue and applied the decals, which I printed on an ALPS printer. I applied a coat of satin varnish an weathered it using chalk powders. |
