Painting the structure will be the fun part. Lots of masking will need to be done to say the least. I've already applied for a second mortgage for the polyscale paint that will be used. Sure wished they offered larger bottles of paint.

Got the grain eleveator in the mail yesterday. Pictures do not even begin to do it justice. Steve was even thoughtful when packing, he wrapped the pieces in papertowels. Made for a nice touch to wipe my mouth as I unpacked.

Thanks for the comments. The silo is realy taking shape with a bunch of paint. Glad I stocked up. Here are a few updated images after some of the detail painting.

Here are a few more pictures. These are of the grain bin that sits just south of the silos. Still needs a bit of rust added to the northern side. This is an intersting piece to paint. Each side of is has a different effect on weathering. The northern side has the most rust. The southern side is the cleanest. On the top, the paint is the best. Best I can figure, somewhere in its life, it was powerwashed. The only portion that got repainted was the roof. This stucture has had so many owners its hard to say.
