Are more micro-trains track options planned?

Must be the computer gremlins again. With that said, I will admit that my computer is slow to type what my fingers are typing. Maybe slow electricity?

I hope I'm proven wrong, but I have strong doubts anything will be released for NA in T. If it did, I imagine it might be third-party items to modify the Japanese prototypes, along the lines of Robert Ray's Northern Pacific passenger coaches.

Challenger would be nice but a Big Boy is at the top of a short list if anyone ever makes one.

I think I'd settle for just about anything in the "affordable realistic US-prototype steam" category. Marklin shells on their 2-8-2 frame are close enough to be recognizable as USRA light Mikado knockoffs (lucky for me since that's one of my favorite designs), but now that I have a third shell to experiment with I'm gonna be playing mad scientist with a Dremel here real soon. What I think Z steam really could use is a good switcher model, since the only options right now are to either kitbash or buy a conversion shell for one of the little Marklin Class 89's. At least one of which will also be meeting Mr. Dremel Tool, since I've got two of the little critters.

I wholeheartedly agree with the K-4 sentiment. A new F-7 release would be rather nice too.

On The F7 question. I found a micro-trains F7 with marklin couplers online. How difficult would it be to convert it back to micro-trains? Also, does to use of marklin couplers have any "negative" impact on the shell of that locomotive?

Conversion to M-T couplers is a snap. You need #004 02 051 truck sideframes, and a small screwdriver. For each truck, remove two screws, swap sideframes, replace screws. No impact on the shell with Marklins AFAIK.
