You do, John - just don't tell anyone. ;-)

Jim, you just got my vote, too.

(Odd that the voting is supposed to have closed on Monday, but it's still active....)

Jim,

Well, there's another vote for Z scale and Jim you are up to 35 votes. One item I noticed was that the contest closed on Monday the 12th, Humm...

Mike and John, Yup, two diesels. I really like this picture this time around. Thanks, but no voting for me unless you think mine is the best. Honesty is the best policy. What I think is strange is that the second place entry is a great photo of the front of a steam engine. You can barely see any 'freight' cars. My photo seems to show the topic quite well to me anyway. Go figure. Cheers, Jim CCRR:blink:

Jim, I didnt vote for you. Not because I dint think your pictures is the best. I voted for Mark because he does great job running the contest. I also like his blending of the background. Still, you will win without my vote.

John, No worries. BUT did you know that you can vote for more than one photo? Mark and I are friends and he would not like to hear for your reasons for voting for him. He is working hard to improve his techniques and I'm sure would have wanted your vote if you saw improvement there instead. Cheers, Jim CCRR:blink: PS I better not lose by one vote!

Jim,
When I saw the diesels I didn't think it was your photo at first.:P
I have to agree, I think your photo composition captures the subject the best. This is a well done photo.
I "discovered" that you can vote more than once on the "TRACK" contest a bit ago. It was fortunate too because there were some terrific photos even after David and Robert's photos were removed. Remember when placing multiple photos be sure to check all of your selections before clicking the vote now button at the bottom.

Congratulations to me?? I'm happy to announce that this photo won the Trainboard 2009 Modeling Photo of the Year. I would like to take some time off from these contests and concentrate on the Northern Division. These contests are great advertising for Z scale.
Time for some of you to step up and give me a break from the action. Cheers, Jim CCRR

Jim,
I'm sure we are all pleased that Z sweep the equivalent of the Emmy's, Oscars, or whatever Z award we should call it. How about recognition?

Recognition is what this scale needs more than anything. And lately we are getting it, what with MR doing the fine report on the SD and now your photo contest being the winner.

And as a reward for your efforts Jim, remember what it was you were needing for your diesel a while back? Well guess what I just picked up and I have two of them for you.

Need anything else before I box them up?

Rob,
Jim sure is doing a bang up job of supporting and promoting Z scale. Jim is one of the West coast's best Z ambassadors.

I'd send him a dozen or so trees as a reward, but he's already up to his eyeballs in bark chips and fir boughs.

Jim,
Will get those packaged up and out the door. Then you can beautify your diesels.
