Hmmm... I own a lot of everything... AZL, MTL, FR, Märklin. Except for the junk Märklin made in China... the Märklin European prototypes run better than most of my AZL and MTL. I've never had a Märklin loco fall apart after removing it from the box... nor have I had to spend hours twearking it.

at 220 each that is 300.00 USD at today's exchange rate going to be an expensive buy for some of us, probably give this one a pass. Maerklin is okay but I do not think it matches up to MTL Geeps over all of course most of my Maerklin were steamers, those that I rebuilt with coreless motors into Nn3 engines run great and are still alive and well. to each his own reality. long live Z
