Swiss Crocodil SBB 6/8
Image information
Description
After our last Sundy chat about strong Locomotives I like to place a very unique and famous Locomotives
The name Crocodil came from the special build to ride narrow curved tracks on the main trade way between the Mediterranien Sea and Central Europe throught the Alps.
When you see the dividing long Locomotive in three flexible combined section and the green color ridin in the mountains it looks like a walking crocodil with the mouth, body and tail.
Therefore this design concept get the family name Crododil.
Concept:
1. Two long front end units with motors and drive axel.
2. Flexible combined middel section with transformators and driver's cab
