I was thinking yesterday that I have 27 more years until I'm 80 Then, I'll be an old lady. If I live that long....

Not to put too much of a damper on my B'day celebrations, but the husband of a long time friend has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and he's not yet 50. He's had three surgeries and may lose his bladder if treatment doesn't go well on this fast spreading disease. My son-in-law, who is 27, was diagnosed on Monday with sarcoidosis of the lungs . It may take two years for him to recover

While these last few years have been the best of my life, I realize that I have to look after myself. Enjoy each day, be thankful to have such a good life and stop to watch the sunsets. Those are the best B'day presents a person could have

Thank you for the B'day wishes

I had a really nice day yesterday, despite the fact that I had more air in my head than actual thoughts Normally that would tick me off, but yesterday I went with the flow. I did some work on my Z PBL Challenge diorama, mostly doing and re-doing Visio drawings of the 1940s diner.
