Thanks for rubbing in the beautiful weather of SoCal. Unfortunately, the Mid-Atlantic has been hit with a cold spell and our lows are going down to the 30's. Yes, everybody up North is colder but, this is the Sunbelt. My home area of the Poconos had about 6" of snow this morning, so I really can't complain about the weather here below the Mason-Dixon.

Not quite as warm in Portland (about 65). But shiny and blue skies!!!

That is! deep, I can only remember once when I was still at school that we had two days off because of snow, apart from that have see very little snow thankfully.

I think that same storm hit NE Pennsylvania in the US, granted I was only 4 yrs old but, I remember the drifts and the snow that wouldn't melt until June. Then there was 1993 and, the Blizzard of '93, 27 inches of snow in about 12 hrs and 72 mph winds with thunder and lightning in a snow storm? I think the NE USA is in for a rough one, sorry Andy, I wouldn't be surprised if NC sees another freak storm like in 2000 where 24 inches of snow fell in South. Oh well, that would give more inside time with the layout and with my Sweetie.
