Jim and Brad,

I'm not sure if this is even possible or cost effective, is there a way to put a search function on the archives?

If there already is one where is it?

When using the one on the main page it seems to work on only the new site. Am I correct?

If this is doable would anyone else use it?

Thanks for listening,
Jerry

Good point Jerry,
I have also got frustrated when trying to find things in the archive.
Some of the best/most useful postings are hidden and forgotten in the archive.

Well here is my two cents on the search issue. It would be nice for those who haven't seen the original posts in the archive to be able to see the related photos, if that is possible. Just a thought.

Good point. We'll look in to that. Please remember that the more extras the more the expense. Cheers, Jim CCRR:)

Jim, I have some experience creating web pages using CSS and Jscript, if I can be of any help (no charge) I will give it a go. Another thought, wow, two in one day. :)

Jim,

I had looked into some of the open source CMS packages for my site and was under the impression that Joomla was a free package. Are some of the extensions such as a segmented search feature only available as a paid add-on to the basic install?
