I would check out High Tech Modellbahnen in Germany www.z-hightech.de They have lights and parts. You can send a wagon and they will do it for you. I don't know if they will do this service for people in the States but they speak very good English and are very friendly.

Hi!

I plan to do the same and even magnaged to pick up a few thin copper plates (10x20 cm) in a local hobby shop. My problem is that I would like to make all wheels pick up electricity from both wheels, like the pickups that can be seen on marklin railbuses. The problem however is how to route electricity through the bogies to the chassis when a bogie connects to both rails. Any ideas?

Hi, this is the email i did receive from Achim from
HighTech Modellbahnen in Germany. It look's like the cost will be 28 euro... per wagon for a set. Henri :)

"We are working on circuit part for passenger cars lightning. This will be total flicker free. It will be on stock in spring next year. The captors, we developed, are deliverable for nearly all cars and they work very well. Have a look at Art-Nr. 3004. On these picture you find more details, how they work. Of course, we sell these items.

Please have a look at it, maybe, there will be some further questions about installations. Then we will discuss all problems.

Best,

Achim"
