Never a problem I found a lot of mistakes myself after looking at it to long like the bitts they are on the in side one side they look like there on top but the other side they are attached to the deck! so That was the only photo I had of the pusher with a good bit of detail But to have it done on shapeways it's going to cost $135.00 for the pusher using frosted detailed materal and with the Barge $233 for both but it hasn't passed yet! I think the Handrails will be the biggest problem! but any comments are better than none like a lot do!

This is because the top of the gunwales are cut away in a half circles to fit bitts in place. This makes it appear that they are mounted to the tops of the gunwales closest to the photographer but only on the deck on the other side (i.e. they are actually deck mounted on both sides). Zoom in and one can make out what’s going on in the photo.southernnscale wrote: ...I found a lot of mistakes myself after looking at it to long like the bitts they are on the in side one side they look like there on top but the other side they are attached to the deck!

I’m in the middle of doing research on Shapeways Z Scale/1:220 “Designers/Producers” and the products they produce. My goal is to create an (occasionally updated) list of stores/designers that actually have Z Scale Model Railroading items for sale while, at the same time, listing some of each of the designers better looking “affordable” models.southernnscale wrote: But to have it done on shapeways it's going to cost $135.00 for the pusher using frosted detailed materal and with the Barge $233...
With the word “affordable” thrown in up there, I have to ask the question: At $135.00 and at $233.00; are these models hollowed out to as thin a shell as possible, while still retaining the models sidewall integrity?
From what I have garnered while doing my research, this is a “must” step in keeping the models at a price that all can afford to purchase; and yet this important step is one that some of the Designers/Producers still fail to do.
The article my research produces should be available soon and will be published on my ZRailroads.com website. When I do so, I’ll also post a blurb here for anyone interested in checking out the list.
PS Shapeways is having a sale this weekend starting now; Friday 11/29/13 through Monday 12/2/13. $50.00 off on $200.00 / $25.00 off on $125.00 /and $10.00 off on $75.00. Use promo code "save10", "save25", or "save50" at checkout.
