Frosted Ultra Detail

Some of this gets a bit technical.. so if you wish.. just scroll down and look at the pretty pictures.
Transparent Detail was a bit yellowish, and all three Detail materials had a waxy buildup on them that needed to be cleaned before painting. Frosted Ultra Detail has neither of these problems, and is MUCH smoother than the previous materials.
BUT!! The major news is: Frosted Ultra Detail can be designed with THREE inch walls! That's three times thinner than previous limitations .. this could get interesting.
I will upload a picture or two of the models as I can, but first, to wet your whistle..
Here is a preview of a car that I designed some time ago, and a new version of the car, designed with the thinner walls in mind.
First: here's the old car, designed with the nine inch limit:
Now: here's the car re-designed for the three inch limit:
Let's just hope that we don't run into breakage problems during shipping.
And by the way.. thanks again to Slugger for providing most of the technical input for this design!

For now, I'm going to only update older stuff to higher detail if someone requests it.
And no, don't just ask me to "do all of them". I gotta sleep SOMEtime.

I think it’s fair to say that we’ve never seen a material introduction that has been as successful as Frosted (Ultra) Detail. Just within the first few days we received the same number of orders as we usually do in one month for the regular Detail materials and they are continuing at the same rate. At this moment, our printers are running 24-7 but it’s not enough. We’re adding more printers this week to match the demand. We should be back on track in two weeks from now, but until then orders may experience a delay of up to 10 working days.

A really great addition to your automobiles would be a 1966 Chevrolet El Camino! linton-motorsport.ebizautos.com/detail-1966-chevrolet-el_camino-truck-used-7058457.html
It would be a great partner to your 1964 Impala.

Stony should put himself up for the highest bidder. The winner would get to own Stony's talent all to himself. Stony could be rich.
Of course, if money is what we are offering, even though I do have the most ideas, (just ask Stony) I most likely have the least amount of money so I probably won't be Stony's task master at all.
Everyone should have a private Stony at his beck and call.
Stony, how does it feel to be so loved and sought after?

I just posted an announcement on Trainboard about the new gondola load. That ought to make Kevin happy.
