Hey all,
I am looking for some road-n-Rail crossing lights for my Z scale layout.Does anybody know if they are made.I don't need anything that operates just a static version would be fine.

Thanks for any help y'all can give.

Jonathan, I just posted a picture of a crossing light. Unfortunatly, you cant get it in the US. They are made in Germany and cost 45 Euros.

Actually, you will be able to get these here in the US through Ztrack Center. I have already ordered a number for inventory. I don't have pricing yet, but should soon.

Jeff,

I haven't added it to the site yet. I am waiting for pricing. Once we have this, I will get it online.

Dave at IBL has some lights. A set is listed on his E Bay auction site.

I purchased a set a few months ago.

Micron Art makes some very nice brass units(not functional), AND I remember Berkshire Hobbies did make working units a few years back, but stopped making them. I found a set at the Allentown Fall Frost meet a couple years back. They are very nice.

They look good and would be great for an American setup. Rob, Thank you for making them available through the center.

Ok,let try this in a different way.Does anybody have a link to a site that would have drawings and specs for a modern US road-n-rail crossing signal?

I don't need working ones just want some to make the four crossings on my little layout look complete for show visitors.(and me  )

Try Googling "Railroad crossbuck" to find all kinds of stuff about grade crossing signs. In particular, check out www.trains.com/trn/default.aspx?c=a&id=214 for some detailed measurements for these signs. As a last resort, buy some HO ones, and scale them down to make your own Z size ones.

Cheers.
