I have been out of the loop for a while and was wondering if the decoder issues with the MTL SD40-2 have been resolved? Can either the Digitrax or TCS be installed without modification to the frame?
John, I only have the first release, but I dont know if they fixed it on the later realeases. On mine, I had to midified the chassis. Ed Turner did it a little different. He thinned the decoder board to get it to fit. When you do the conversion, watch for the motor tabs bending too far out. Its not a problem when you run dc, but its going to create a short when you run dcc.
