Got a problem with the forum was created by Catt
you see that grey bar up there? Do you see where it says My Z Central?Well that bar goes all the way across but if you go down below it,and to just this side of the a in Central the page just disappears. There is nothing there but a big ol white spot. This white area goes all the way to the bottom of the page.

I'd like to visit chat but other than the chat window itself there is nothing there.

In case you are wondering I am using IE 8.

I hope someone can come up with a solution for this little bit of aggravation.

Johnathon, I have tried every possible combination of moves that you discribe and cannot get your results. Perhaps the problem lies with you equipment. Someone else will chime in and then we can see what' up. As for Chat. True. Nothing appears below in. Simply click on Chat and the Chat page will open up for you. If not then again, the problem probably lies at you end. Cheers, Jim CCRR:huh:

Did you try clicking the Compatibility button in IE? It's the button to the right of the address bar with a broken page icon.

Any chance of toning down the "You are using IE6! Bad, bad, bad user!" message? At work, I have no choice of which browser I can use, and the message that greets me every time I access Z Central is unnecessarily large and invasive. I realize it's a minor point, but it gets progressively more annoying every time I return to Z Central. (Perhaps, if not reduce/eliminate the message, maybe wire it up so it will only display once for any given visitor's IP address.)

I second David's motion about the IE6 scolding message. We're stuck with IE6 at work (even as conflicts with websites and IE6 are piling up), too.

Guys, I think I am running into the same problems you are. I've erased the email to Brad including the possible IE6 notice so I can't reread it. While I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing, mine had to do with photo uploading, I did get the 'message'. While big and bold I didn't take it with any personal feelings. I'm not sure that IE would like their messages send any other way and ZCS certainly can't control IE's warning messages. What do you want, think, we can do for you? Cheers, Jim CCRR:unsure:

Jim, the message is most definitely generated by Z Central, and it's not related to the image uploading process. It appears whenever the site is accessed by IE6, and advises us to upgrade to IE8 or some other "modern" browser, with this long-winded explanation why that consumes nearly half the screen. It looks like Brad might be working on it, because the message no longer appears, although the screen does go black, with a "Loading..." prompt in the center, for a couple of seconds when the site is accessed with IE6 now. So, thank you Brad, if you are indeed tinkering with the code.

Thanks David. I don't see the message anymore myself. I will direct him to this thread however. Cheers, Jim CCRR:)

Message disabled. However, the site may not work so good for those browsing with 2001's IE6.

Thanks for doing that! As it happens, it looks fine to me in IE6.
