The password reset works - an email is sent and it works but you can't update your password once you are logged in again.

Hope things have stabilized. It's been nearly impossible to get on. I have been missing the site.

Until we can get some other option working, you can see who is available to chat by clicking the little counter at the bottom right of the screen

I think I know what he means, Stony: on the list of "Recent Topics", it includes the number of "new" (i.e., unread). It may not strictly be a button, but rather (possibly) a text link, and it is green. It takes you to the page where the new messages are (if there is more than a page worth of messages for the thread), but not specifically to the first of the new messages.

Yes, and it appears to be working today. Thanks for the hard work on getting it fixed. I know it seems like many of us are griping, but we are just trying to help point out the bugs. Believe me, I do appreciate the behind the scenes work it takes.

"HITS" on recently uploaded pictures on home page seem exceedingly high. ( "Skyline" has over 370 hits in just two days) Also it would be nice if each comment was preceeded by the writers avatar- as in the old ZCS. I personally prefer the older presentation, on home page-- all the same size-with author and number of comments on home page top. The addition of color- etc- may be fine for techies- but for the more challengened among us- it can be confusing, complicated and cantankerous, not to mention complex!

Stony- I have tried several times the shout box... Not working on my computer- Windows XP--- I'm signed in etc. What I wanted to say is I do not understand how the time is referenced. Before we knew if it was a new post or three days old. Etc. Dosen't work on FireFox either. Will try others

Stony- I see time and date now on shout- as you tested it. Still not posting from my FLINTSTONE computer on 4 different engines with a big Dell precision 380 computer. It might be Lois Lerner's

No shout box for me, either, Firefox on a Mac (yeah, I'm "one of those"

Shout works for me on win 8 machine using Firefox but not IE. Also doesn't work on my Win 7 machine using either IE or Firefox.

I requested to have my user name sent to me since I forgot it (along with the password) so I could sign in using Explorer (for some reason my version does not remember user names and passwords even when told to). Put three requests in several hours ago. Said it was going to send it to me and then had a bunch of error messages bellow it. Never got any emails back.
