Rokuhan has produced at You Tube video showing their new coupler conversions for their cars so they can integrate with the rest of the Z scale world.

first a two piece long and short version of an auto latch knuckle coupler. second a Marklin compatible fish hook in long and short versions. both of these are easy to change just pull the mini rapido coupler out and push the replacement into the pocket. The auto latch is a two piece type coupler but very easy to assemble and snap into the existing coupler pocket. Release date is October, can't wait to get my hand on some of these.

The video was a simple change not having to look for little springs and holding then together but just pop out and push in. Good job!

Rokuhan had the idea when they released the DD51 diesel because they did include a dummy knuckle coupler and a fish hook similar to these. In the months since they have improved the dummy knuckle so it is now an auto latch type and now will be packaging these couplers in packs of 6 as a parts package. The only care that this conversion will not work on is the KIHA52, but they do offer a parts package to add the coupler pocket so it can be converted the same as the rest of their cars and engines now.
