Very Fine Job, John!! It's a lot harder to replicate a specific tug boat than it is to make a general tug of a well known fleet. A lot of crashing and bashing. Neat how you raised the wheelhouse, and cut down the bow. The vents on the after house, the outside ladders, - even the early radar mast and davits!!
Looks real! It's fun to see how others make these boats "Thier Own".

Fred,

You are the boat-man! I used a totally new hull, parts from two different 1/200 model ships, railing from Rolfs-Laedchenhttp://www.rolfs-laedchen.de/, numerous brass parts from Tom's Modelworks www.tomsmodelworks.com/catalog/ and lots of styrene.

I truly believe that if it wasn't for you continually bugging me I would have never completed this project! Thanks Fred!

So I was the "BURR UNDER THE SADDLE" :S I was wondering about the hull and rub rails-- different hull. Great to see different applications for same original model. I think I have to upgrade my tugs a bit. Very believable replica.
