I must say I've been enjoying the new banners. I weny to Shorpy's site to look at the original pics.
The pictures of 11th Ave in New York intrigued me, there's a layout waiting to happen.
If anyone has any more pics or drawings of the NYC steam dummies seen in the pics I'd appreciate a message. They are very similar to a tram engine that ran here in the UK and that was still in use in the 1950s.
Thank you very much for the compliment. One of my goals for the banner was to use it as a visual tool in some way. So, whether I use it to display modeling workmanship, layouts, unique scenes, or even actual railroad images, the goal is to inspire the modeling Z community.
