Nothing beats natural light, makes me wish we got some of that warm, low sunlight in our yard as well but alas.
Great photos Ed, love the DOF as well.

Maybe in a few years and with lots of practice I'll be able to make shots that look nearly that good too :p

Impressive! One cannot really see that it's z-scale.
What do you use for material to make the tarmac/asphalt that great?

Petter- The roads are made with WS Smooth-it. When mixing the smooth-it, instead of using plain water, I use a watered down acylic paint the color is asphalt. This helps in a couple ways. One, its colored all the way through. Second, it gives a more weathered appearance. Once dry, I go back over with sand paper to achieve the height needed.
