Ztrack Center Now Offering FR!

Ztrack Center is excited to announce we are now offering FR's line of freight cars. The first set we are offering is FR's Swiss - SBB lift and dump cars. Two cars are included in the set. The cars feature an etched nickel silver chassis with fine details. The car bodies are injection molded. The lettering and logos are pad printed. The cars are equipped with Marklin style couplers.

Thanks for that Rob. Will you eventually offer FR's Zm line?

Right now, FR has asked us to focus on his line of injection molded rolling stock. This is a good place to begin with as it fits in well with Ztrack Center. Of course, if the opportunity presents itself, we will expand our offering including Zm. I really like the Zm line and own a few pieces of equipment. I personally hope to put a narrow gauge section on the layout.

Rob, I do, too. However, FR Zm does not have much traction available right now. If they at least had some sort of generic/customizable chassis, it might be possible to scratchbuild the desirable RhB passenger machines. Or perhaps their existing 4/4 chassis might be good for it?

Now here is a scratchbuilding project whose time has come.

Now that would be a fun project. You could do this fairly easily in etched brass. The 'William Tell' cars could almost be cut down as well.
