My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Steve Van Til. Steve passed away peacefully in his sleep last night October, 18th, 2014. Steve loved the Union Pacific Railroad. Steve's login was 'Slugger' a nickname his dad gave him, but he also earned the nickname 'Mr. Styrene' for his impeccable work with Styrene and basswood. Steve later redesigned an 'Mr. Styrene' avatar for use on ZCS. Steve's skills with styrene was building hoppers, gondolas, boxcars, buildings, and huge complexes. All from scratch! Steve also built beautiful basswood trestle bridges. Steve's friendship and craftsmanship will be sorely missed.
I am going to share some of his work. You are more than welcome to share including anything Steve had built for you.
