Intermodellbau Dortmund 2010

Hello Folks

from 14th to 18th April 2010 is the Europe's largest model show in Dortmund, Germany

There are 3 exhibitor in Z:
the guys from Hamburg with their modules
Karl Friedrich Ahnert with his fabulos Zm layout
and myself with "Königzhausen".

Thanks for letting us know about the Dortmund show. Please take photos of the event and post them in the gallery for those of us who cannot attend

I cant afford to go there either, after California, but I will try to be there. Takes 3 days to see it all.
It's a great place to see what the neighbor's are doing with trains,planes, models, dolls, and paper models. You never know what you can use in Z.
Last time I went I met people who make decals for aircraft..they said they would make them for trains too..just send them the design. Another booth had people that poured fine brass parts for boats, and they advertised they would make any parts you wanted.
Another note; as an American, (counting Canada too) I was surprised at all the displays they had, of American stuff. I was one of perhaps a handfull of Americans there, and was surprised by the number people who like America and American things, trains, planes cars,ships ect.

Jurgen, that was a great repost. I also enjoy the pictures, nice job.

Juergen and the rest of the guys worked VERY VERY hard and put in some long hours at the show. His Module was one of the hits of the show for sure. I know i kept bugging him asking where things was but he kept his cool. Thanks to all the German Zetties out there for spreading the Z message!
