Well, if anyone is anywhere near Elgin (Scotland) over the Easter weekend, I will be exhibiting at the Moray Model Railway Group's Model Railway Exhibition in the town hall, North Street. Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm. You can see a few shots of the layout (which is still being built) on my website (at trains.manvell.org.uk/z-scale/layout/).

All the best,
Chris.

Sorry Chris, I'll be in the Isle of Man! Good luck with the show.

Will you be showing at Zedex in Oxford later this year?

Cheers

Phil

Phil,

While your on the Isle of Man, be careful because their trams operate on tracks with switches that don't have any frogs.

SAMRA

San Antonio Model Railroad Association is having a Train Show this coming weekend, January 30 and 31, 2010.

Larry Donsbach will be there running trains on his Z scale modules. I am not sure if anyone else will be there as I have not yet asked him. I plan on skipping out on sleep(I am working Night Shift again), probably Saturday to go and visit Larry at the show.

Larry said this SAMRA show is the biggest Train show in San Antonio. According to SAMRA's website they host the show in the early part of the year and one during the summer. I do know that other Train shows are active here in/near San Antonio, but they are smaller in nature.

If anyone is near, you might want to come down during one of those two days and visit the show.

If you frequent the Trainboard.com you might have run across postings by a guy named Flash Blackman, mostly in the N scale group. He is a member of the SAMRA club and will most likely be there with some of his modules too.

Welcome One and All!!!

Hobo Tim :)

If anyone is near Inverness this weekend (some hopes!) Breitenfurt will be on show along many other layouts including my friend's latest T scale one. Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm, Spectrum Centre (by the train and bus stations). I will be posting a report with pix after the event.

All the best,
Chris.
