Look what I saw today! was created by craZ13
On my way to work today I spotted two box cars that one wouldn't normally see in our area. I thought a thread where we could post unusual or less common rolling stock would be interesting. Since I was driving and couldn't take photos I'm going to post photo facsimiles of the cars I saw.

I couldn't find a good picture of a real example of the first car so I'll have to post this model photo.

The second car was right behind the Galveston Wharves car

Hope you enjoy these, and if anyone posts photos be sure to indicate the location of the cars.

Jerry, Nice. I didn't even know of this road name. Looks like BN reporting numbers though. Cheers, Jim CCRR:unsure:

I have a few photos that need resizing of some QNS&L stuff.

Here's one I saw about 2 weeks ago on a Sunday in the BNSF yard in Portland, right along Hwy 30:
When I saw it, I had to turn around and take pics of it. The kids were a bit confused at first, but then they understood . . .

It was really cool to see a real one, especially after seeing Fred's models.
