Happy new year to all of you around our Zmall globe. I hope for all of us that we will have time enough for modeling mountains hills and meadows, landscaping our scenery, building houses and bridges, running trains, designing layouts and most of all having fun together here and everywhere in shows, meetings and private come togethers.

What are you doing in Miami?

Having good time, partying, eating, drinking, but no South Beach. To see the same weird creatures I see in Long Beach every day is not my first priority. My son lives in Miami, he married a Cuban girl. Imagine, I have about 1500 brand new party loving Cuban relatives...

I told the boss I need the weekend of the GTE train show in Portland off, coming up in February. I'll finally get to see some of these great modules in person, and meet the creative people behind them.
