Rio Grande Hobbies is Closing was created by HoboTim
I want to let everyone know that my local hobby shop is closing. Rio Grande Hobbies, in Canton, Georgia, is closing. Wayne purchased the store a few years ago as his retirement business. Since moving it to Canton, he has greatly increased the amount of N and Z scale in the store. He ran the business mainly for Internet but wanted to have a store front too. I watched the inventory grow substancially. He had one complete aisle devoted to Z scale. It was full of MTL Z. He did not expand into other Z scale brands due to the fast pace of his N scale. One of Rio Grande's websites is 4nscale.com. They had purchased also the website 4zscale.com also. Once they had hoped to get the N scale working they were going to expand greatly in Z.
Right now, you can go to Rio Grande's website and find valuable savings on their Z scale as well as N scale items. I think after the 26th they were including an additional percentage off too. Read the message on their home page!!!
Here is the link to the Z scale section!
