In N scale Tomix and Kato provide a transition piece which is a 30 degree arc of curved track going from flat to enter into super elevation. I do not see any mention of this in the Rokuhan video.

Not just "high speed", many of the "classic" routes just look wrong without superelevation. I suspect you know this example: the curve leading into the WP Greenville bridge. Looks totally wrong without the engine leaning into the bridge. Of course that's broad curve hence my interest in superelevation on larger radii.

We actually have the track now in stock. We are just waiting on pricing from Rokuhan. Once we have it, we will put it up for sale on our track store. Looking a the track, it is pretty neat. I can't wait to try it out.
We also received the EF66s. They look nice! Again, we are just waiting on pricing...

super elevation on cape gauge track (42 inch or 3 ft 6 in) is what allowed New Zealand, South Africa, and Japan to move into 110 kph or 70 mph speed passenger trains on cape gauge track, or narrow gauge track. I love watching video of the super Hitachi rolling into the curves in Japan.

Mr.JA wrote: "Pricy"? Really? It is the only Z-scale super elevated track on the market.
Yeah, an extra $5.40 per six pack is pricey no matter how many companies are making it.
Guess I will be scaling back my track replacement plans.
