Burlington Northern

Hello
Does anyone can tell me the references of colors and the lettering fonts for the Burlington Northern (green, black and white scheme)?
And where i can purchase some paint of any brand for that company color scheme?

Hi Alvaro,
The Burlington Northern green was named "Cascade" green. Polly scale has it and it is a very close match which I used for my locos. You can buy it online from N Scale Supply.

Alvaro, send a emayl Robert Ray. He made BN decals centerbeams, caboose, boxcars, and geeps.

If memory serves Helvetica 75 Bold is a close match but this font has a downstroke on the G which BN doesn't. Helvetica Fraction Bold is pretty good match to BN numbers.

Hi Alvaro, I use Corel Draw, and I have drawn up all the Trailer Train logos, and the Burlington Northern logos too. If you email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. All the rest of the BN lettering was done in Arial Bold, as it is very close, especially when you shrink to Z Scale.

I can export the files as Adobe Illustrator, or Autocad too, so let me know which version you want.

I was looking for something else and came across this. It could very useful.

As a symbol font it means you type "I" and the BN road name comes up or "V" for the Herald.
