Also a point of clarification, this is pre-order only. We are asking for payment at this time.

Fred, I think you are supposed to pay now. I'll let Rob confirm this. Cheers, Jim CCRR:unsure:
You make the reservation now and you pay when the item is ready to ship.
Mind you if you want to pay now I am sure Rob will take the money.

Great video ! ! !
Back in the mid 80s I had the opportunity to ride the special train from Denver, CO to Chyenne to the Rodeo Days. It was pulled by one of their steam engines and about 25 passenger cars and 2 or 3 open door baggage cars. It was a great ride and reminded be of the NRHS Iron Horse Rambles that operated out of Philadelphia in the 1950s when I was a kid. Those were the days of REAL steam...

I watched a episode of the history channel's "Extreme Trains"last night. The programme's rather excitable young man was riding UPs 844 to Cheyenne for Rodeo Days.
It's a beautiful engine, but I noticed that a DD40X in the consist, helper or back-up engine?

All becomes clear! I was wondering why I couldn't find UP passenger cars for love or money.
I have had a few clients ask me about UP passenger cars. It appears the MTL cars are scarce. Marsilius Line offers UP passenger coaches, both the 1950 - 1971 version and the very recent 'named' series. One of the named cars is actually 'Challenger'. We do offer the Marsilius line and have many of the named cars in stock. Plus re receive order from Masilius all of the time. You can check out the selection and order at:

Hmmm... did I just hijack my own thread?
