UK modeller says Hi! was created by TailUK
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Les and I'm an American outline modeller here in the UK.
I'be been modelling in one form or another all my life and came back to train about 10 years ago. A trip to the US in 2002 turned me on to American outline and I joined the local NMRA where I run HO on the club layout.
I've also got an interest in HOn3 and I'm working on a small sectional layout of the Oahu Railway and Land Co (which, admittedly, is going very slowly).
Being limited for layout space I'm planning a Z gauge layout. Z gauge has always impressed me and now the range of American models is increasing I quite like the idea of a self contained layout to run at home.
I'm an experience modelmaker and look forward to the challenge of Z gauge.

Les, welcome to ZCentralStation. You will find a group of well experienced folks here who are always willing to lend a hand and have decades of experience. I am returning after 40 some years, getting to that age in life. Check out the forums and the archives for tons of good information.

Hi Les, Welcome. I don't know if you saw Z on your 2002 trip, but the scale and members and availabilty of goods has grown 10 fold since then. Enjoy. Cheers, Jim CCRR:)
