These two buildings are "paper"..... I laminated the paper to wooden cutout and styrene to maintain shape and add heft.

Oftentimes paper buildings have details we can't model in Z and also shadows as on right. I think they are good for background uses and possibly in the foreground with added details to distract from any dislike of "paper". Plus they are cost effective- over lazer cut wood, with brass mullions, and sticky paper roof shingles. :)

Plus they are already painted-- a BIG ONE for those that use the dunken bucket method. :woohoo:   ;)

Paolo I think it looks great! I have integrated paper buildings into my layout as well. But mostly for backdrop buildings. They are not as extensive as your round house. Your round house is really nice!

Fred I like the Epstein building a lot!

There are several Dover Books- Cut and Assemble-- HO scale- by A G Smith--"Epstein" came from Main Street book.

www.amazon.com/Cut-Assemble-Main-Street-Easy-To-Make/dp/0486244733/ref=pd_sim_b_5/178-0490601-1302559?ie=UTF8&refRID=0XK497HGN1GRDSKZ5HBG

Wow- the price has shot up since I got the books. I'm sure they can be found for less. I guess it is because it is out of print. (1983) I zapped down to Z on color copier.

Great models. Sometimes I think we forget how good properly built cardstock can look.

Dover was built on the concept of publishing out-of-print, specialty books. You might want to checkout their images web site: DoverPictura.com for the books you want.

While I'm not a fan of paper models in larger scales, I do believe most paper models are perfect for Z scale. Good job. Jim :)
