Modifying Pro-Z layout

Modifying Pro-Z layout was created by jlundy46
About a year ago, I bought one of the Pro-Z basic layouts. I planned to add more realistic scenery and use it for BYOZ. I discovered the only loco that would run on it without derailing at the cross-over under the mountain was the MTL F7. I have just ordered two straight sections of track and plan to remove the crossover so I have two ovals of track. Just wondering if anyone else has done this?

Did you purchase the extra pig tail so you can power the second loop. There are two sockets on the module and either will work for power when the cross over is in place. Once it is removed you have to power each loop separately.

Hi Garth,
I ordered a second pigtail when I ordered the new track.

Thanks,

John... What power-pack are you using for running your non-ProZ locos on these layouts?

I use the MRC RailPower 1300 and have also used the Snail controller at shows.
