Today was the first run on my 11"x14" Shorty Figure 8. I put a 1k resistor in series with the track power to slow the Shorty down.

Here are a couple of new videos. My Shorty shells arrived from Shapeways today. The fit is good, maybe too good. I don't have the skills to make highly detailed models.
These coaches mimic the narrow gauge passenger trans of the Colorado Shouthern. They will be trimmed with dark green chalk like the Chicago Northwestern. The blue shells in the background mimic the Australian Tin Hares.
Colorado Sothern
These shells mimic the ore and freight trains on the Butte, Anaconda & Pacific. They will be dusted with red, yellow, brown and black chalk to look worn out and abused.
Butte, Anaconda & Pacific
These shells mimic the Australian Tin Hares. They will be trimmed in yellow with silver roofs.
Australian Tin Hare
