No I haven't read anything about it. That N scale Sommerfeldt catenary looks very nice (at least in the catalogue), but unfortunately out of scale for Z trains.

Yes, I agree with that. I wonder too if just a little of the enthusiasm shown for diesels is related to the amount of noise they make. Electrics tend to be quieter, although an ICE can really make its presence known!
