Dummy Engines, and stuff

Hi all.
I am going to bring ups some stuff that has been discussed before but I will drag it out again.
We all know MTL makes wonderful stuff and they are fully dedicated to making us Z scalers happy.
We know they can make all manners of trucks and wheelsets.
All of us that have the B units, all know the problems of the unpowered trucks and how they drag.
We all know its a small company and to invest in tooling ect costs money, and they have only so much to spend on new stuff.
I am thinking, would it be possible/feasible/profitable to come out with a new free-rolling unpowered truck, combined with a frame, that also has electrical pickups, that one could use for dummy engines? One that can be MU'd perhaps for additional power or even sound? Even just for dummy engines with the possibilities of directional lighting?
4, 5 or 6 engine lashups were not unusual at least when I was growing up. I am sure lots of people would gladly change out the dragging wheels/frame of the old dummy A and B units, or squeeze in a dummy GP in-between the powered ones.
I know I know, if I was any kind of true modeler I could kind of sort of modify one that kind of sort of works. but wouldn't it be cool to buy one, add shell, and put it on the track?
Meanwhile thanks MTL, for making the stuff that you do. Z has came along way and keeps getting better.

Yes, I know what you mean, that would be great. I made a GP35 dummy chassis from scratch and then used the wheelsets from an F7B dummy loco. I still had to buy the F7 dummy to get the wheelsets from, plus buy the shell for the GP35. It would have been much nicer to simply buy a proper chassis and then add a shell.
