Micro-Trains 25th Anniversary Set was created by Mr.JA
There has been some recent interest in this set. I thought I would share the proto-photos that I have found that closely match the set (just in case anyone is interested... or, not).
The loco is not a GP-9 as released by MTL, but a GP-7 smooth-side ...

The 50' boxcar is a smooth-side. The proto-photos I'm finding are of a rib-side (not sure about the road-number, maybe the proto is missing the zero?)...
rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1685312
The 50' gondola...

The 60' bulk-head flat-car (proto-photo is of a different road-number)...

The Gunderson "Husky-Stack" is not a single unit, but a 5-piece, A-B-C-D-E unit. The "B"-unit seems closest to the MTL release...

Not complaining, just sharing. If anyone has this set, I'd appreciate your thoughts about it. If you can find other photos, please post links to this thread.

Sorry Alex but every picture you found at this web site comes up as a busted link
rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1685312
even when I reformated the link to "http"+"://"+"www.rrpicturearchives.net" we received network error so the site is probably down this morning at 8:30 my time

Garth,
that happens to rrpicturearchives at least once per week, so no concern.
Alex, I think this is in the Micro-Trains "tolerance" of similar to prototype as we have already seen many times. And it's accepted by 99% of MTL customers. The rest can have my email address...

Garth... Gerd already gave my reply. On any given day with www.rrpicturearchives.net, I'll get "web-site not found" or some type of syntax error. Maybe the site gets over-loaded. I've tested all the links and they seem to be working again.
Gerd... I know all of your e-mail addresses well. Dollar for dollar, we already know I do more business with you than all other "manufactures" combined.
I think most Z'ers are a bit more tolerant of the MTL's "fudge-factor"... unlike many of the N(ormal) folks with MTL's releases. But, this is not the purpose of my post. I'm not bashing MTL or those folks of other scales.

Hey Alex,
no need to apologize, you stated clearly it's not about complaining.
I appreciate it every time you remember my address!
