Muncie Western Boxcar
Image information
Description
Had some fun the past four days with a cool project. The famous Muncie Western boxcars are now in Z! I sprayed a brown primer on the cars, and on the sides brushed three coats Polly Scale TTX Yellow which is imperfect that adds to the aura of the wood sheathing. I then touched up the stirrups with black, then sprayed a coating of Dullcote before decaling. After the decaling I gave the cars two more coats of Dullcote to help seal the decals. And for the white glass jar logo... I painted the little section white with a toothpick before applying the decal. The only problem with painting the white was that sometimes I missed covering the area, so some yellow may show through. The Ball logo I had to edit the current company logo to match the one used on the boxcars. And the jar logo was edited also. Other than that I think I should have used a smaller font to the right of the door.
