I just listed 2 AZL AJIN BRASS engines on Ebay. They are an SD45 Brass Milwaukee RD and an E8/9A New York Central Diesel. Thanks for the privilege of using the shout box. These are beautiful engines.

This is Karen again. John is doing great The surgeon drain most the blood out with a small hole in his head. he has a drain tube in head to get the rest out.

From Karin Edwards.. Jonathan (catt) is in the hospital for bleeding on the brain and other complications. He will be having surgery Friday to remove the blood on his brain.

Managed to get the thread posted with one picture O.K. Tried a reply and got the 0404 error message. couldn't save it . tried a simple reply with one picture and it worked. Tried to insert video nogo

Z Central Station Private Messaging

ZCS always had the ability to allow private messaging between members but now it is functional for you to use. When you log in you will notice a PM Notifier just under the search box on every ZCS web page. When you go to your profile page you will notice several new PM modules. Here is where you can have ZCS email you when you receive a new PM, compose a PM to another ZCS member by using their screen name. You can also review sent, received, and deleted private messages.

This Day In Railroad History
Group Date Event
MICHRR 1848-05-30 New Michigan Central depot west of Third Street near the river, opens in Detroit.
NHRS 1866-05-30 The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection & Insurance Company is incorporated in Hartford, Connecticut. Partners Jeremiah Allen and Edward Reed are inspired to act following the April 27, 1865 boiler explosion on the steamboat Sultana, which killed over 1,600 passengers.
MICHRR 1871-05-30 The Flint & Pere Marquette open their line from Wayne to Northville.
SOOLINE 1883-05-30 The Aberdeen, Bismarck & North Western Ry. organized.
NHRS 1897-05-30 Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo operates its first passenger train between Toronto and Buffalo (April 6, 1896).
NHRS 1908-05-30 President Roosevelt signs the Ash Pan Act, prohibiting the use of any locomotive whose ash pan cannot be emptied and cleaned 'without the necessity of any employee going under such locomotive'. He also signs the Transportation of Explosives Act, which prohibits carrying high explosives on passenger trains and steamships.
NHRS 1931-05-30 Last passenger train marks the end for the Ohio River & Western, one of the last remaining narrow-gauge roads in the eastern US. The road once operated-112 miles of track between Zanesville and Bellaire. (*Hilton, p.471, says Memorial Day)
NHRS 1977-05-30 Last run of a US Railway Post Office on the overnight New York-to-Washington route. June 30th to July 1st.

using N scale decals for Z

Unless you go the customized route for decals, you can purchase N scale decals to help decal your rolling stock, bridges, buildings, or locomotives. I usually find my N scale decals at train shows. There is always someone clearing out their N scale decals of what they have left or will never use.
